Project description
The ADM Milling building on Notre-Dame Street East in Montreal was built in the early 1900s. The famous flour mill required significant repair work and so, in 2016, the reconstruction and modernization of several sections of the industrial building was planned.
Groupe Brosseau Vitrerie was contracted to manufacture and install two aluminum curtain wall systems, each measuring 25 m wide and 8 m high. These structures created two striking building facades that are unique and durable and allow daylight to stream into the office spaces.
These two new exterior wall structures were designed and manufactured in the Groupe Brosseau Vitrerie factory so as to ensure quality control and reasonable manufacturing timelines and finalize the project quickly.
Once again, Groupe Brosseau Vitrerie was able to rise to the sizeable challenge and make use of its team’s know-how and expertise in designing airtight curtain walls that can stand up to bad weather, noise and fire.
