This elementary school in the Saint-Janvier sector of Mirabel officially opened its doors for the 2016/2017 school year. The new modern, eco-friendly, safe and scalable school caters for just over 500 students from preschool to sixth grade in 21 classes.
The opening of a new elementary school in Mirabel meets the needs of a rapidly-growing population made up of a large proportion of young families. The cost of this construction project amounted to approximately $12.4 million and the works included concrete measures aimed at improving the building’s energy saving potential.
The Groupe Brosseau Vitrerie team has extensive experience in designing aluminum curtain wall systems and so was able to meet the project’s performance criteria.
Our experts designed and installed a large number of curtain walls, interior glass vestibules and doors and windows. Eleven of these windows were round, made-to-measure architectural windows.
